At Lighthouse Aged Care Specialists, we pride ourselves on making the transition into aged care as stress-free as possible.
To guarantee this, some of the services we provide include:
- One-on-one conversations with client and family to discuss options
- Liaise with financiers, solicitors, Centrelink and aged care representatives
- Book and attend inspections at prospective facilities
- Accompany client to meetings with banks, financiers, solicitors, etc.
- Collate information and submit application forms
We will be in touch throughout this whole process to keep you and your family up to date.
Covid-19
At Lighthouse Aged Care Services, the wellbeing of our clients and their family is our highest priority. We will personally assess each client on an individual basis as to risks and proceed accordingly.
We always carry hand sanitiser and masks for use when required or preferred and remain updated on current legislation and alerts.
While personal one-on-one meetings are preferred as part of our service, we are happy to arrange video or phone appointments when required due to Covid-19 restriction changes, geographical obstacles, or if simply preferred by our clients as a precaution.
One of the main points of difference in using our services is that we can eliminate the risk for you by attending most appointments on your behalf.
We both have evidence of our current flu vaccinations and Paul has his Covid vaccination.

Our Packages
Our service packages can be tailored to your needs and are invoiced and payable upon commencement of services.
Package 1: Bronze
- A maximum of 5 x 1-hour consultation meetings capped at 30 days in home or office
- Open discussion of goals, objectives, and potential obstacles to overcome
- Look at available options and solutions
- Meet at selected properties for viewings
- Connection with legal representation for the contract phase
- Pre-settlement inspection prior to funds transfer
- Free transfer upgrade to gold package if required
- Best suited for clients who wish to be more involved in the process, and who are willing and able to complete some tasks on their own including travel to appointments
Package 2: Gold
- Unlimited meetings capped at 90 days (at our discretion)
- Open discussion of goals, objectives, and potential obstacles to overcome
- Look at available options and solutions
- Pick-up and collection of client/s for travel to all appointments
- Assistance with the sale of existing property or assets
- Connection with legal representation for the contract phase of the purchase
- Negotiating on clients’ behalf if required for finalisation of deal
- Pre-settlement inspection prior to funds transfer
- Ongoing support for 30 days after settlement (at our discretion)
Other Available Options
- Assist with packing and transport of belongings to new home, storage facility or family members
- Referral to a financial planner for independent financial advice
- Ongoing one-on-one personal support after the move
